The Prescott show was amazing. When you think that just one person heads up the effort to put on a National Meet, you gain a true appreciation for the dedication and hard work involved. Jim Schultz did a tremendous job and all of us who attended truly thank him.
Jim was tireless all year long, and even before, in "pulling out all the stops" to make this meet one to remember. One gentleman I talked with said Jim had approached him two or three years ago about getting his Oldsmobile out of storage and getting it running again in time for the show.
Beisdes running the meet, from Welcome Dinner to Awards Banquet, and everything in between, Jim was gracious enough to open up his own garage for tours, along with a couple of his neighbors. This was one of the highlights of the weekend, right up there with the Verde Canyon Train Tour and, of course, the parking lot.
Thanks again, Jim for all your effort.
And thanks to the Officers, Board Members and all NAOC members who have been so welcoming and encouraging to me as Editor and Webmaster. I am happy to be part of the National Antique Oldsmobile Club.
